Join us for a creative experience to celebrate this special day! Bring your mom, your friends and your loved ones! In this introduction to watercolour workshop, Brigite will guide you in creating simple and charming watercolour pieces— perfect for gifting someone you love, to gift yourself, or just to take a break in an inspiring space with creatives. Together, you’ll explore the versatility of watercolour in a fun and approachable way.

What you’ll do:

• Learn simple and accessible watercolour techniques.
• Create personalized mother's day cards and pieces that can be used as gifts to your loved ones. 
• Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this is a chance to enjoy a relaxed, fun and creative atmosphere with mother's love vibes sharing the passion of watercolour in great company.

All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you want. We have limited the spots to 10 people to make sure the facilitator can have enough one-to-one time. The workshop will take about three hours and there will be a 15 min break. We welcome all ages, although it's not designed for the little ones younger than 10 years old.

The workshop will be led by Brigite Reis, a Portuguese Watercolour artist based in Toronto. Painting has been her passion since childhood, but it was last year that she truly immersed herself in the world of watercolour—a medium that challenges and inspires her. For her, each painting is a labor of love, telling stories and preserving unique moments.

Underscore Projects' coffee shop will be running with delicious treats and coffee drinks.

When: Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 2pm to 5pm

Where: Underscore Projects - 1468 Dundas St W - 2nd floor - Toronto, ON M6J 1Y6 (Dundas/Dufferin) - (we are a dog/cat friendly space!) 

Refund Policy: All tickets are final sale. Contact us in case are not able to attend at least 24h in advance to the event and we you can transfer your ticket to a friend or someone you know, or to a future workshop.

*Workshops are subjected to cancellation in case the registrations don't reach the minimum number of 6 people.
